GENERAL PURPOSE CLEANING SOLVENT

Product Description: DEGREASING SOLVENT, TYPE II is a general purpose, narrow cut, petroleum solvent, which exhibits excellent solvency for a wide range of application. This is a hydrotreated aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent with only trace amounts of Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs). The fl ash point specification enables the material to be transported under the Department of Transportation (DOT) Rule HM-181 as a combustible liquid. Releases of vapors are not reportable under SARA 313.

Readily removes oil and grease.
Dries quickly without leaving oil fi lm.
Non-photochemically reactive as defined by South Coast AQMD, Rule 102.
Complies to AQMD Regulation 8, Rule 4.

Typical Uses:
Most commonly used to clean automotive and machinery parts.
For cleaning oil filters and screens.
For cleaning oily floors.
Commonly used as a diluent in the manufacturing of roof coatings, floor coatings, cleaning compounds and wire rope and cable coatings.

CAUTION: USE IN WELL VENTILATED AREAS AND AWAY FROM OPEN FLAMES.
