HIGH QUALITY STEAM CYLINDER AND INDUSTRIAL OIL

Product Description:STEAM CYLINDER OIL is manufactured from high VI paraffinic base stocks compounded with fatty oils which act as wetting agents to improve emulsibility and metal wetting properties in the presence of wet steam or water.

Typical Uses:
ISO Grade 460 is recommended for low steam pressures between 75 and 150 PSI temperatures between 340°F to 400°F.
ISO Grades 680 and 1000 are recommended for high steam pressures over 300 PSI with steam temperatures 400 F. to 590 F.
None of the above steam cylinder oils are suitable when the exhaust steam condensate is returned to the boiler.
ISO Grades 460, 680 and 1000 meet the AGMA 7, 8 and 8A compounded specifications and are suitable for the lubrication of worm gears and other low speed reduction gears.
Suitable for lubrication of heavily loaded journal bearings
Suitable for gas compressor cylinders when compressing wet gas.
